We recently recieved this letter from Mom's mission president updating us on hurricane Hanna.
Dear Parents of SCCM Missionaries,
Just a quick note to let you know all is well here in South Carolina. Tropical Storm Hanna will hit landfall late tonight/early tomorrow morning. It is not expected to carry much of a punch and most South Carolinians are remaining in their homes. Much of the general feeling is, "We've seen worse," and so life somewhat goes on as normal.
We however are acting with caution and have accordingly moved our missionaries serving in the coastal zones. We presently have no missionaries within 90 miles of the beaches. We expect to experience a little wind and rain but otherwise not much to worry about, and expect that all missionaries will be back in their proselyting areas on or before Sunday.
We thank you for your prayers
